Antibacterial properties of gamma-irradiated PVA hydrogel containing preservatives |
| 초록 |
Imidazolidinyl urea and bronopol are well known as preservative. Gamma-irradiated PVA based hydrogels containing both preservatives were prepared and their antibacterial activities were evaluated by inhibition zone of gram-negative bacteria (E.coli) and gram-positive bacteria (S.aureus). The gamma-irradiation effect on the minimum antibacterial activities of the preservatives was also investigated. |
