Effect of Multi-walled Carbon Nanotubes on Electrical Properties and Rheological Properties of the Polybutene-1 (PB-1)/ MWNTs Nanocomposites. |

An advantage of the CNTs/polymer composites is the possibility to exploit the many advantages that carbon provides which is hardness, thermal stability and enhanced electrical conductivity. Many polymers have been used as matrix materials in CNT/polymer composites for various target applications. In this Study, we prepared PB-1/MWNTs in solution, in order to achieve excellent mechanical and electrical properties of PB-1. Multi-wall carbon nanotubes treated by sonication. The effects of the MWNT dispersion was observed by FE-SEM images and electrical conductivity of the composite was measured by using resistivity meter. Rheometer (RMS800) was employed to investigate rheological property changes for PB-1/MWNTs nanocomposites. |
