The Study of Hybrid using Long Carbon Fiber Reinforced Thermoplastic(LCFT) and Chopped Carbon Fiber reinforced Thermoplastic(CCFT) in terms of physical Properties |
초록 |
The study of hybrid using Long Carbon Fiber reinforced Thermoplastic(LCFT) and chopped carbon fiber(CCFT) were investigated in terms of mechanical properties. LCFT was prepared by special impregnation die in order to improve the degree of impregnation and mechanical properties. The maximum weight percent of carbon fiber in LCFT and master batch of CCFT were 43wt% and 30% by TGA under N2 condition, respectively. To improve the compatibility, PP-g-MAH was used as a coupling agent. Mechanical properties were analyzed through tensile strength and flexural modulus. Universal testing machine (UTM) and impact strength were carried out by ASTM standard samples. Total amount of carbon fiber was fixed as 10, 20, and 30wt% varying the ratio of LCFT and CCFT. The results showed that the flexural modulus was decreased with increasing CCFT content. The electrical conductivity was also measured in terms of the content of CCFT. |
