제목 | Scale up synthesis of nylon-12 monomer laurolactam |
초록 | Nylon-12, a well-known Thermoplastic elastomers (TPEs) has thermoplastic and elastomeric properties. Among TPEs, Nylon-12 is Thermoplastic polyamide-based elastomers (TPAE) which have polyblock structure with hard and soft segments. They have higher demand because of their good plasticity, Co-extrusion, thermal stability and hydrolytic, chemical resistance. As a result, Laurolactam, a monomer of Nylon-12 should be synthesized in large scale to applicate in chemical industry. In this work, one-pot, large scale synthesis of Laurolactam via Beckmann rearrangement is studied to obtain pure Laurolactam in high yield from cyclododecanone, which is commercially available in low price. |
