Thickness effect of hole-collecting buffer layers for polymer solar cells |
초록 |
Recently the performance of polymer solar cells has been encouragingly improved through a variety of approaches including synthesis of new semiconducting polymers and fine tuning of nanomorphology with conventional materials. Besides active layers, we have recently focused on the hole-collecting buffer layers because the device performance is strongly dependent on the condition of hole-collecting buffer layers. Taking into account the surface plasmonic effect of hole-collecting electrodes, it is expected that their surface electronic structure can be considerably influenced by the thickness of hole-collecting buffer layer. In this motivation, we tried to vary the thickness of the hole-collecting buffer layer below 10 nm. Results showed that the thinner hole-collecting buffer layer has a positive impact on the performance of polymer solar cells. In this presentation we will discuss the detailed device performance in conjunction with the theory of wave functions of electrodes. |
