The binary mixtures of block copolymer (BCP) with homopolymer have been investigated by many researchers, since the phase behavior of binary mixtures exhibit a variety of phase transitions. In this study, we investigated the multiple transition behaviors of binary mixture, composed of asymmetric BCP and homopolymer using Small Angle X-ray Scattering (SAXS) and Grazing Incidence Small Angle X-ray scattering (GISAXS) for BCP melts and thin films, respectively. The neat PS-b-PI melts, which has asymmetric composition of isoprene component, show multiple order-to-order transitions and the order-to-disorder transition (LAM-HPL-GYR-HEX-DIS) with increasing temperature. The phase transition of thin film of BCP mixtures may be correlated dominantly to the interfacial interaction between BCP and substrate. |
