The block copolymer (BCP), consisting of chemically different polymer connected covalently, have attracted great attention, since they can self-assemble into arrays of various nano structures such as lamellar (LAM), hexagonally paced cylinder (HEX), body-centered cubic (BCC), and the complex morphologies such as gyroid (GYR), hexagonally perforated layer (HPL). Interestingly, the BCP show a morphological transition, named as the order-to-order transition behavior (OOT). In this study, we investigated the inverse and unusual type OOT behavior of asymmetric deuterated polystyrene-block-poly(n-pentyl methacrylate) copolymers, denoted as dPS-b-PnPMA by Small-angle X-ray scattering (SAXS), Small-angle Neutron scattering (SANS) and transmission electron microscopy (TEM). |
