제목 Block copolymer functionalized with cholesterol oxidase and Horseradish peroxidase for the detection of cholesterol at LC/aqueous interface
초록 A TEM grid cell coated with 4-cyano-4´-pentylbiphenyl (5CB) was functionalized with a block copolymer poly(acrylicacid-b-4-cyno-4-undecyl acrylate) (PAA-b-LCP) followed by the co immobilization of two enzymes cholesterol oxidase and horse radish peroxidase for cholesterol detection. Cholesterol was detected by a parallel to perpendicular (bright-dark) orientational change of 5CB under crossed polarizers with a detection limit of 0.8 mM. The high stability of the immobilized enzymes and specific detection of cholesterol in a complex mixture demonstrates a convenient method for screening cholesterol levels in a sample.
