제목 Chiroptical Properties of Graft Copolymers Containing Chiral Poly (n-Hexyl Isocyanate) as a Side-Chain
초록 Polyisocyanates have a dynamic helical conformations, ability to induce optical activity, their molecular weight can be controlled by living anionic polymerization. Herein, we synthesized chiral PHIC macromonomers, containing vinyl or ethynyl group at one end and chiral moiety at other end of the chain, using various functional initiator and chiral terminator, by living anionic polymerization. In order to obtain graft copolymer containing poly (n-hexyl isocyanate) (PHIC) as a side-chain, the PHIC macromonomers were polymerized by free radical or metathesis polymerization. Formation of chiral macromonomer and graft co-polymer was confirmed by using H1 NMR, SEC-LS, and CD spectroscopy.
