Automobile Shredder Residue (ASR) is final product generated during the shredding process of ELVs (End-of-Vehicles). Automobile Shredder Residue are composed of light and heavy fluffs and soil/dust and amounted to 15.8% based on the mass of a new vehicle. In this study,5 ton/day pilot plant of shaft type has been designed and constructed.15 times of test run were performed and the operation data have been obtained, such as temperature and pressure distribution in gasification melting reactor, the composition of the produced gas such as H2, CO and CH4 and air pollution compound including dioxin discharged from the stack. |
