Self-assembled nanoparticles based on hydrophobically modfied O-carboxymethyl chitosan as carriers for antibiotics |
초록 |
The objective of the present study was to develop a new drug carrier consisting of O-Carboxylmethyl chitosan (OCMCh) with fatty acid (Fa). The particles form the self-aggregates in an aqueous phase by hydrophobic interaction between hydrophobic Fa attached to OCMCh and ciprofloxacin (OCM-Fa-Cip). We found that OCM-Fa made to be soluble the ciprofloxacin, which has poor solubility in water. Characterization was confirmed by FT-IR, 1H-NMR, DLS and TEM studies. In-vitro antimicrobial test of OCM-Fa-Cip nanoparticles was investgated against various strain. These results suggest that OCM-FA-Cip can be applied as a carrier of antibiotics.
