Recently, many studies on the treatment of cholangiocarcinoma have been developed. However, it is a problem that therapeutic effect is low due to delayed diagnosis of cholangiocarcinoma. There are still difficulties to overcome various problems such as enhancing therapeutic effect and nonspecific normal tissue damage. We made light reactive nanoparticles loaded with anticancer drugs available as immunomodulators. Nanoparticles enter the cancer tissues by the EPR effect and improve the activity of immune cells by increasing the efficiency of cancer treatment by dual therapy with PDT and chemotherapy. We observed T cell activation and tumor growth inhibition after laser irradiation. These nanoparticles, which are capable of combined therapy, are expected to grow into new platforms for drug delivery systems and chemotherapy. |
