제목 Preparation of β-Glucan Immobilized Gelatin Microspheres for the Improvement of Soft Tissue Regeneration
초록 β-Glucan is a polysaccharide which can activate immune system and inhibit cancer cell proliferation and recurrence, reduce blood level of cholesterol, improve lipid metabolism, and inhibit body fat formation and accumulation. This study aimed at the evaluation of the effect of β-glucan on fibroblast activities, including adhesion, proliferation, and differentiation. In this study, we prepared β-glucan immobilized gelatin microsphere. The physicochemical and biological functionality of the microspheres were evaluated using various analytical techniques, including SEM, zeta potential, and FT-IR. Results illustrated that the immobilization of β-glucan in gelatin microspheres facilitated the controlled drug release and improved fibroblast bioactivity.
