Synthesis and properties of a novel polyimide liquid crystal vertical alignment layer for high response time |
초록 |
The liquid crystal display (LCD) is a common the most flat panel displays. However, one of the weaknesses of the LCDs is slow response time that is still work in progress. We introduce to improving the response time of the liquid crystal displays using on the vertical alignment layer included photo-curable reactive mesogen (RM) monomer. Desired polyimide was synthesized from DOCDA, MDA, DA-18IM with 3',5'-diamino-4-acryloypropyloxy-biphenyl (RM) monomers in m-cresol. Liquid crystal test cells for characterization of the response time and LC alignment behavior were made using prepared PI as the alignment layer. In this presentation, we will discuss about the synthesis result and fast response behavior of VA LC with new alignment layer. |
