제목 | Degradation and drug release properties of nanopaticles preparedfrom the novel diblock copolymer based on poly(ethylene glycol) and poly(L-lactide-co-ε-caprolactone) randome copolymers |
초록 | DDS(drug delivery systems) based on polyester have been much investigated due to their biodegradability, biocompatibility and nontoxicity. But there are still many problems to be resolved such as cell deformation and denaturation of the loading materials can be occurred since the insertion of particles constituted by polyester into the body. In this study, we prepared novel diblock copolymers based on the PEGME and random copolymers of L-lactide and ε-caprolactone and characterized their structures and properties by DSC, 1H NMR, 13C NMR, and FT-IR analysis. The degree of hydrophilicity of the diblock copolymers was determined by the water uptake test and water contact angle measurement. The aim of the present study was to investigate the influence of the chemical introduction of hydrophilic PEGME chain into poly(L-lactide-co-ε-caprolactone) backbone on the fomation of particle and the mechanism of in vitro degradation and erosion of the polymer. We also tried to elucidate the relationship between copolymers with various compositions and the characteristics of nanoparticles. |
