For the next-generation optoelectronic devices like a display, touchscreen, solar cell or smart window, etc, transparent supercapacitors (SCs) are an unavoidable component. Furthermore, flexible, foldable and rollable SCs have been requested as a key component of portable convenience. Various transition metal-based electrode materials have been extensively investigated as a class of electrode materials for high-performance SC applications. In particular, tungsten oxide (WO3) have large energy storage capacity (its theoretical specific capacity ~ 1112 F g-1) that enable it to function as an electrode in energy storage devices, and it is also the most widely studied material in the electrochromic field. In this work, we report the WO3-based flexible transparent SCs prepared by electrophoretic WO3 deposition based on the nanofiber-reinforced flexible and transparent composite electrodes. |
