제목 Development & evaluation of drag-reduction antifouling paints
초록 The self-polishing copolymers (SPCs) have the mechanism of a hydrolysis or ion exchange reaction of an acrylic polymer with seawater. So it has been variously applied to antifouling paints as the binder. In this study we synthesized SPC resins containing poly(ethylene glycol) (PEG) groups and manufactured antifouling paints employing the synthesized SPC resins. The property for drag-reduction of the developed paints was examined by rotor tests and flat plate tests. We investigated the antifouling performance of the developed paints through the seawater-immersion test.
