Air pollution has recently become a critical global issue. Among the air pollutants, nitrogen oxides (NOX) are the extremely dangerous source, which causes acid rain, smog and global warming. To remove the NOX, selective catalytic reduction technology has been used to reduce NOx emissions because of the most efficient NOX removal technology. Also, crystal structure of catalysts plays a key role on the activity of the catalytic materials, while it is still ambiguous. In this study, we explored the effect of crystallinity of the V2O5 and WO3 catalysts was adjusted by altering the synthesis process. Their crystallinity was confirmed by TEM, XRD, Raman, and SAED analyses, and their properties were characterized by SEM, BET, XPS, NH3-TPD, H2-TPR and fixed bed reactor. The crystalline catalyst showed enhanced catalytic performance compared to the amorphous catalyst. The results may be applied to the various fields that require the high performance of catalytic properties. |
