The effectsof catalytic performance on aromatization using acetylene were studied with conventionalMCM-22 zeolites and hierarchical MCM-36 zeolites. For conventional MCM-22 zeolites,the catalytic performance was studied with different Si/Al ratio. To synthesizehierarchical MCM-36 zeolites, we did swelling MCM-22 zeolite precursor and pillaringthe swollen places of MCM-22 zeolites. The catalytic performance and characterizationwere measured using hierarchical zeolite with layered nanosheets. The results fromstructural difference and Si/Al ratio were studied with MCM-36. As a results, theperformance of aromatization of acetylene using MCM-36 was enhanced. Furthermore,the results showed that the amount of carbon deposition was significantly dropped.Both results are probably caused by the increased quantity of external Brønsted acidsites. |
