A highly adhesive and transparent conductive single-walled carbon nanotube (SWNT) film was sprayed onto polyethylene terephthalate (PET) substrate with a thin polymethylene methacrylate (PMMA) layer. The stable SWNT dispersion was prepared using sodium dodecylbenzene sulfonate (NaDDBS) as the surfactant. A PMMA layer with a thickness range of 1 m was used as the adhesion promoter between the PET substrate and the SWNTs, and it was partially dissolved by controlling the time of dipping in dimethylformamide (DMF) solvent. The dissolved PMMA layer and SWNT network formed the composite. The electrical conductivity of SWNT film was improved by nitric acid (HNO3) and thionyl chloride (SOCl2). As a result, the SWNT film obtained through this fabrication method had a sheet resistance of 150 Ω/sq with a transmittance of 80% and a highly adhesive property. |
