제목 Preparation Inverse opal structured electrode in polymer electrolyte membrane fuel cell
초록 Pt nanoparticles loaded Inverse Opal (IO) electrode is fabricated via inverse of polystyrene (PS) opal structure. IO electrode maintains macropore and three dimensional structure that enhances performance due to improve mass transfer and water management by morphological advantage. Opal structure is prepared using horizontal deposit method that uses PS colloid synthesized by an emulsion polymerization technique. After depositing PS onto gas diffusion layer (GDL), Pt precursor is infiltrated by pulse electro deposition technique and PS in subsequently removed by toluene. IO electrode is characterized by SEM, TG/DTA, BET and the cell test is conducted for the MEA fabricated with IO electrode in cathode.
