Organic solar cells (OSCs) have become of growing interest due to the advantages of OSCs over the first-generation silicon-based solar cells with regard to portability, flexibility, inexpensive manufacturing costs, and easy implementation. However, the major hurdle for organic cells results from its low efficiency. We try to treat this problem by studying the effect from patterned surface of photoactive layer. Charge transport, mobility, and even optical properties across the active layer ofthedevice can be affected by modified orientation ofP3HT through patterning. |
