Improvement of cell adhesion on polymer surface using ion irradiation-induced graft polymerization |
| 초록 |
In this study, a surface modification method for cell adhesion on a polymer surface by using ion irradiation-induced graft polymerization was described. The surface of FEP films was activated by ion irradiation and acrylic acid was then graft polymerized on the activated FEP surface. Cell adhesive proteins were covalently immobilized on the poly(acrylic acid)-grafted surface. The result of the cell culture revealed that cells were adhered to and proliferated on the protein-immobilized surface but not on the intrinsic surface. |
