Design of iron based catalysts with maximum activity for FischerTropsch synthesis; effect of Mn addition on catalytic activity and deactivation |
초록 |
The addition of small amounts of Mn on Fe catalysts increases activity and stability of Fischer-Tropsch synthesis. Highly active iron based catalyst was designed and the effects of Mn addition to iron based catalysts were investigated on catalytic activity, selectivity and stability. The FeMnOx nanoparticles were synthesized and then supported on γ-Al2O3 to prepared iron catalysts. The catalytic activities were examined in the fixed bed reactors. The catalysts were characterized by XRD, TPR, O2-titratin and CO-chemisorption.The CO conversion using 5Fe1Mn/100Al2O3 catalyst showed best results and stability increased with increasing manganese content. |
