Preparation of Biodegradable Poly(ε-caprolacton) Microcapsules Containing Retinol by Solvent Evaporation Method |
초록 |
Microcapsules could be used in cosmetics, pharmaceutical, adhesives, and medical applications. Poly(ε-caprolacton) is widely used synthetic polymer with biodegradability and nontoxicity. Retinol is known as an effective material to wrinkle care. Poly(ε-caprolacton) microcapsules containing retinol were prepared by solvent evaporation method. Poly(vinyl alcohol) was used as a emulsifier and dichloromethane was used as a solvent for poly(ε-caprolacton) and retinol. The effect of emulsifier concentration and stirring speed on the average particle size and distribution were investigated. The prepared micrlocapsules were characterized using UV spectrometer, IR spectrometer, SEM, DSC, and particle size analyzer. Release behavior and the loading content of the microcapsules were also investigated using UV spectrometer at 325 nm. |
