Over the recent years, biosensor applications in biomedical science have attracted considerable interest for rapid and sensitive detection of disease. Magnetic nanoparticles(MNPs) have been studied as biosensor materials because of their biocompatibility, small size and magnetic properties. MNPs with magnetic properties can be easily assembled into an external magnetic field, allowing more sensitive, faster and accurate sensing of biomolecules. By assembling MNPs and specific ligands, specific biomolecules can be captured. In this study, We synthesized MNPs by pyrolysis method for monodispers and uniform size. In addition, surface modification of MNPs was conducted using specific ligand for binding with biomolecules and enhancing dispersibility in aqueous solution. Furthermore, the morphologies, chemical compositions and electromagnetic properties of MNPs were evaluated. |
