제목 Preparation of Gelatin Microparticles by Electrohydrodynamic Spraying Method
초록 Gelatin is an attractive natural polymer for biomedical applications due to its excellent biocompatibility and degradability to non-toxic products. In this study, gelatin microparticles were prepared by electrohydrodynamic (EHD) spraying. First, to make the gelatin microparticles by the EHD spraying, tetrafluoroethanol (TFE) was used as a solvent for gelatin dissolution. To find a proper dissolution condition, the solubility was investigated by TFE concentration in solvent and temperature. After that, condition for EHD spraying was found by dope solution concentration, voltage, and flow rate. At the high concentration of dope solution and the voltage, the size of gelatin microparticle became smaller. But it seemed that flow rate has no relation with the microparticle size in this study.
