제목 Multifunctional catecholamines
초록 Marine species use the aminoacid 3.4-dihydroxyl-L-phenylalanine (DOPA) for adhesive purposes. Inspired by this motif, cathecholamines have been used over the last years to modify polymer coatings and hydrogels and used for underwater crosslinking and adhesion. Nature also uses additional substituents in the catechol ring to expand the functional levels and properties of the derived materials. Progress on substituted catecholamines (NO2, Cl), their reactivity and photodegradation and antibacterial properties will be presented
