The synthesis of dye-containing (1,3,3-Trimethylindolinobenzopyrylospiran, TMLBPS and 2,3-Bis(2,4,5-trimethyl-3-thienyl)maleimide, BTMTMI) and free-standing mesoporous organosilica films with cubic mesostructure (Im3m) was carried out using reactant mass ratio of 0.8 F108: 0.1 2M-HCl: 10 EtOH: 0.8 H2O: 7.8x10-3-1.95x10-2 dye: 1.77 BTSE ((C2H5O)3SiCH2CH2Si(OC2H5)3). Both samples of BTMTMI-PMO film and TMLBPS-PMO film have photochromic properties which show the decrease and increase of fluoresence intensity under visible and UV light. Down through about 4 h as-synthesized BTMTMI-PMO film and TMLBPS-PMO film contained template showed photochromic phenomena that are the concomitants with the decrease and increase of fluoresence intensity. On the other hand, down through about 55 min the dyes incorporated in the pores of surfactant-extracted PMO film showed photochromic phenomena that are the concomitants with the decrease and increase of fluoresence intensity. |
