pH-sensitive liposome coated with acidic proteinoid |

Liposome coated with acidic proteinoid was prepared for a pH - dependent release. The acidic proteinoid was prepared by a thermal-condensation reaction of Asp and Leu (9.85/0.15 in molar ratio). And neutral proteinoid also synthesis of same method like acidic proteinoid using Serine and Leu(9.85/0.15 in molar ratio). After synthesis, acidic peptide and neutral proteionid were characterized using NMR and FT-IR. In order to prepare pH-sensitive liposome, DOPE and PC used for lipid bilayer. And acidic proteinoid solution was hydrated with dye of calcein. pH-sensitive liposome was characterized by TEM and DLS for measuring structure and size distribution. The objective of this research was the release of the dyes under various pH conditions. Dye leakage from liposome under the acidic condition from pH 5 to pH 6.5 in acidic proteinoid liposome. The acidic proteinoid is believed to control release in response to change in pH on the liposome. |
