제목 Structure and Dynamics of Confined Polymer Systems Studied by Neutron Reflectivity
초록 There has been intense interest in the polymer mobility in nanoconfinement system. Both structural and dynamical properties of this film thus differ from bulk counterparts for film thickness approaching the nanoscale. In this talk, we present the polymer dynamics confined between graphene oxide (GO) sheets using a neutron reflectivity method. We measured inter-diffusion dynamics of polymer thin film with and without the GO monolayers, where the mobility of polymer chains was found to be significantly reduced as approaching to the GO surface. The similar results also have been obtained from dewetting dynamics of polymer bilayer films with the GO monolayers at the interface. This is due to the non-preferential interactions between the GO and polymers, which leads to improving the compatibility of two immiscible polymers.
