제목 Preparation and Release Behavior of Atorvastatin calcium-loaded Polyoxalate Microspheres
초록 Atorvastatin calcium is a potent inhibitor of 3-hydroxy-3-methylglutaryl-coenzyme A (HMG-Co A), the rate limiting enzyme in cholesterol biosynthesis. POX microspheres loaded atorvastatin calcium were prepared by an emulsion solvent-evaporation/extraction method like oil-in-oil-in-water (O/O/W). The influence of several preparation parameters such as initial drug ratio, molecular weight of POX, concentration of POX and concentration of emulsifier has been investigated on the drug release profiles. The results, POX microspheres by preparation parameters were able to observe the characteristic of release profiles. Physicochemical properties and morphology of preparation POX microspheres were investigated by SEM, XRD, DSC and FT-IR. In this study, the microspheres made on simple formulation and the control of drug release profiles. This research was supported by WCU (R31-20029).
