제목 V2O5/carbon composites as cathode materials for rechargeable Mg batteries
초록 Recently Mg battery is received attention due to its safety, high specific capacity (3832 mAhcm-3, 2230 mAhg-1), and lower cost compare to Li battery. In this study, various types of V2O5/carbon composite were synthesized by sol-gel method with different carbons such as Super P, CMK-3 and mesoporous carbon for cathode materials of rechargeable Mg battery. The composites were characterized using SEM-EDS, TGA, XRD and their electrochemical performances were investigated by cyclic voltammetry (CV). The CV results showed that reversible Mg2+ intercalation/deintercaltion to the V2O5/carbon composite can be achieved. Among those composite, V2O5/Super P showed the highest capacity of 323 mAhg-1.
