To improve effectiveness of photo-alignment, polyimide is designed for reducing photo -dissociatio reation time.The polyimide containing cyclobutane-1, 2, 3, 4-tetracarboxylic dianhydride (CBDA) and 4, 4′-diaminobenzophenone has been synthesized by amide bond. A mole ratio of CBDA and 4, 4′-diaminobenzophenone was 1:1. The mixed solid contains 15wt% of solvent which is n-methyl-2-pyrrolidone (NMP). The synthesized polyimide was analyzed by Fourier transform infrared (FTIR) and dichroic ratios. We obtained Polar dichroic ratios and evaluate aligment of liquid crystal. The subject under study is to shorten the UV irradiation time and to improve the orientation. |
