Effect of solvent treatment on PEDOT:PSS thin film morphology coated by inkjet printing method |

We developed inkjet printable poly(3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene):poly(4-styrenesulfonate) inks by adding several additives with different solvents for organic photovoltaics device. PEDOT:PSS layers with various thicknesses were prepared in order to study their effects on the performance of devices. Because of the lower vapor pressure of the solvent mixtures, the polymer films formation is slow. Adding high boiling point solvents, the polymer chains had enough time to organize themselves. The controlled solvent drying time lead to obtain pin-hole free surface films and enhance conductivity. |
