제목 Deactivation of Pt/Al2O3 Catalyst for the Wet Oxidation of Phenol
초록 Wet air oxidation(WAO) process is a very attractive and useful technique for treatment of effluents where the concentrations of organic pollutantsare too low for the incineration process and when biological treatments are ineffective, e.g., in the case of toxic effluents.The development of catalytic wet air oxidation (CWAO) using various catalysts has been attempted in order to reduce the severity of the oxidation conditions.

In the present work catalytic wet oxidation(CWO) of phenol was carried out in a high pressure batch reactor with 1wt% Pt/Al2O3 catalyst at 403~453K and 1.3~2.4MPa. Deactivation of the catalyst during the CWO of phenol was investigated.
