Preparation and Evaluation of Core-Crosslinking Chitosan micelles with Lipoic acid for Triggered-Drug release at Cancer cell |

Reduction-sensitive reversibly core-crosslinked micelles were developed based on lipoic acid-grafted chitosan (LAC). Core-crosslinked micelles has an advantage of high stability in blood stream and triggered-drug release by glutathione into cancer cell. LAC was synthesized by coupling agent. Structural analysis of LAC was accomplished by 1H-NMR and FT-IR. In addition, Doxorubicin(DOX) was loaded to core of LAC and it was crosslinked with DTT of reduction agent. Its particle size and morphology were measured by DLS and TEM. Moreover, cytotoxicity and anticancer effect were confirmed by MTT assay. These results suggest that it can utilize as anticancer agent.
