제목 Heterogeneous Catalytic H2O2 Scission on Fe3S4/Fe7S8  for •OH-mediatedDegradation of Organic Pollutants
초록 Iron sulfide (FeS2) is deemed as one of fascinating catalytic solids used to enhance •OH productivity via H2O2 scission. This is primarily due to the inclusion of sufficient quantities of Lewis acidic Fe species  (H2O2 activator; Feδ+; 0 ≤ δ ≤ 2) inherent to FeS2. This presentation showcases the utilization of Fe3S4/Fe7S8 as novel catalytic solids to produce •OH via heterolytic dissection of H2O2. In this presentation, Fe3S4/Fe7S8 were compared with FeS2, Fe2O3, and Fe3O4 with regard to the efficiency in decomposing aqueous pollutants and the way in cleaving H2O2 (homogeneous versus heterogeneous catalysis) through a series of control reactions and kinetic assessments.
