제목 | Synthesis and characterization of poly(carbazole)-basedcation conducting materials from anion exchange membrane precursors for proton exchange membrane fuel cell |
초록 | Proton exchange membranes are essential materials for electrochemicalenergy technology such as proton exchange membrane fuel cells (PEMFCs) andwater electrolysers. Hydrocarbon-based PEMs have been extensively studied asalternative materials to the state-of-the-art perfluorosulfonic acid polymerssuch as Nafion, Aquvion, etc.. In this study, the hydrocarbon-based poly(carbazole)-based proton conducting polymers was synthesized from anion exchange membrane precursor by converting an alkyl halide functional group to a sulfonate in a polymer matrix. In particular, the developed PEMs was evaluated for physicochemical properties, resulting in outstanding proton conductivity, chemical stability as well as good solubility. |
