Characterization of amino-functionalized bacterial cellulose gel by radiation grafting |
초록 |
Bacterial cellulose (BC), produced by Gluconacetobacter hansenii TL-2C, has unique structure and chemical properties such as ultrafine highly nanofibrous structure of natural extracellular matrix (ECM), chemical purity, high water capacitibiliy, and high mechanical strength. Thus, BC has recently attracted significant attention for tissue engineering. In this study, 2-aminoethyl methacrylate (AEMA) was grafted onto BC surfaces by using gamma-ray irradiation. Scanning electron microscopy (SEM), fluorescamine staining, ATR-FTIR spectroscopy, and contact angle measured to characterize the BC-AEMA scaffolds. |
