제목 Temperature and pH responsive hydrogel microfibers fabricated with microfluidic devices an their biomedical application
초록 We fabricated multi stimuli-responsive hydrogel microfibers and microtubes using the microfluidic devices and alginate templating method. The copolymer microfibers were prepared using microfluidic devices by in situ photo-polymerization of N-isopropylacrylamide monomer with sodium acrylate or allyl amine loaded in calcium alginate templates. We found that diameter of prepared copolymer microfibers could be controlled by adjusting the pH or temperature of medium. The repulsion force induced by protonation or deprotonation of amine group or acrylate group deform the distance between polymer chains, which causes the change of diameter. We also demonstrated that positive charged microfibers promote the cell attachment due to negative charge of cell membrane.
