Carbon blacks are composed of fine particles consisting mainly of carbon. They are produced from hydrocarbons by partially combusting fuel oil or natural gases. Carbon blacks are used in tire as rubber reinforcement, antistatic films, fibres and floppy disks as an electric conductive agent. Also, carbon blacks are an excellent colouring agent as black pigment, printing ink, paint and toners. We have investigated surface area properties of carbon black with their color tone. It could be important to adopt carbon black in real applications. |
