제목 Preparation of iron oxide particles precipitated activated carbon using Liquid Phase Plasma for supercapacitor applications.
초록 Liquid phase plasma (LPP) can potentially fabricate metal nanoparticles rapidly without adding reducing agents because plasma provides a high energy field with excited energy states. In this work, we describe a new strategy by choosing LPP reduction system for the purpose of fabricating iron oxide/activated carbon composites for dielectric material on capacitor. The effects of plasma discharge conditions were investigated and the resultant products were characterized. Iron oxide nanoparticles were dispersed uniformly on the surface of the activated carbon. The XPS and EDX analyses revealed that both metal iron and iron oxide were present in the activated carbon composites synthesized by the LPP method. The iron oxide/activated carbon composites exhibit good dielectric performance including highly discharge capacitance and low resistance.
