Preparation and Characterization of Nickel Oxides-loaded Lithium Manganese Oxide Composites |

Ni oxide (NiO)-loaded Li-Mn oxide composites were synthesized by a hydrothermal method as a function of Ni amount. The characteristics of surface charge were investigated by zeta-potential measurements. Crystallinity was characterized by X-ray diffraction analysis. The textural properties were evaluated by measuring N2/77 K adsorption/desorption isotherms. From the results, it was found that the NiO loading of Li-Mn oxide composites is a crucial factor in determining their crystalline structure and surface charages. Furthermore, the NiO loading onto the Li-Mn oxide composites had influenced on their large mesopore volumes in certain pore size regions of Li-Mn oxide composites. |
