제목 Synthesis and characterization of isatin polymer having acidic moiety for proton exchange membrane water electrolysis
초록 Poly(isatin biphenyl) (PIB) was synthesized by superacid-catalyzed condensation polymerization. Subsequently, PIB was modified to bear acidic moieties for proton conduction. Successful modification of PIB was investigated by FT-IR spectroscopy, 1H NMR spectroscopy, and gel permeation chromatography (GPC). Thermal properties of modified PIB was examined by differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) and thermogravimetric analysis (TGA). In addition, ion exchange capacity (IEC) and ionic conductivity of the modified PIB were evaluated.
