Stereoselective Synthesis of α,β-Substituted-β-mercaptocarboxylic Acid Derivatives: Asymmetric 1,4-Addition Using C2-Symmetric Pyrrolidine Derivatives (II) |
| 초록 |
We have conducted the asymmetric conjugate addition to α,β-disubstituted unsaturated amides with trans-2,5-bis(methoxymethyl)pyrrolidine as a chiral auxiliary. Lewis acid catalyzed conjugate addition of thioacetic acid to tigloyl amide gives high asymmetric induction at the β-carbon as well as the α-carbon. Both the stereoselectivity and the yield were more than 95% for the major product shown below among the four possible isomers. |
