제목 Electrodeposited CoxFe1-xelectrode for anion exchange membranewater electrolyzer
초록 Water electrolysis is considered an electrochemical hydrogen production technology that complements the intermittent characteristics of renewable energy by storing large-capacity electricity connected to renewable energy in the form of hydrogen. The oxygen evolution reaction (OER) of water electrolysis, which exhibits high overpotential due to the adsorption of reaction intermediates over several steps, is limited in that it relies on theoretical simulations.

 

In this study, the reaction intermediate is confirmed under operating conditions at room temperature and ambient pressure. The electrode configuration through electrodeposition, which is an electrode design index, can be presented by comparing the adsorption energy of the reaction intermediate in a short time. In addition, the optimized catalyst is used as an anion exchange membrane water electrolyzer to investigate the highperformance of electrolysis.
