Recently, various studies related to adding functionalities to battery separators have been reported. In particular, high conductivity of separators is considered to be one of the crucial properties for fast charge/discharge characteristics in battery applications. Here, we fabricated 3D inverse opal(IO) separator by UV-curing poly(urethane acrylate)(PUA) monomer using colloidal assembled opal template to control the pore size and interfacial ratio. After coating polydopamine and sulfobetaine zwitterion on the surface of IO separator, the separator showed low electrolyte resistance compared to pristine IO and polydopamine-coated IO separator. |
