제목 | The Preparation of Nanocomposites of Polypyrrole with Carbon Aerogel and Study on their Photovoltaic Property |
초록 | Organic photovoltaic cells are one of the promising methods to solve the coming energy problems through the replacement of the conventional silicon-based solar cells. An important barrier for high-efficient organic photovoltaic cells, is the difficulty in the creation of high interfacial contact area between two different semiconducting polymers. In this study, the high interfacial contact between polypyrrole and carbon was obtained by polymerization of the pyrrole in the presence of carbon aerogel, which is applied in active material in Schottky-type photovoltaic cells. Precursor for carbon aerogel was synthesized by the condensation of resorcinol with formaldehyde. The properties of the aerogel were controlled through the variation of monomer ratio, gellation, drying method such as the supercritical drying, and carbonization. The density, size of nano-pore, specific area, and electrochemical property of the nanocomposite were investigated in the view of photovoltaic materials. The photovoltaic cells, which were fabricated by sandwiching the nanocomposite between ITO and metals having low work-function, were basically tested and modified to raise the photoelectric conversion efficiency. |
