제목 Preparation of hydro-gel to have the mechanical properties
초록 We are focused on increasing the mechanical strength of hydro-gels to use the active chain to stretch between nano-particles. We directly attempt to do polymerization on nano-particle surface by gamma ray radiation. The polymerization is a radical polymerization to use the peroxide, which is formed on the nano-particle surface, irradiated with 60Co gamma-ray in oxygen. These peroxidized nano-particles act as both an initiator and a cross-linker. Also, we expect that change the mechanical properties of hydro-gels using the different size of nano-particles. It was observed by rheovibron and several microscopic techniques. And we show that this hydro-gel is different from the degree of swelling by pH solution. Therefore, it also is possible to create biocompatible hydro-gels with extremely high mechanical strength.
